What data we collect

• Food log entries (meal descriptions, calorie and macro estimates, timestamps)
• Weight entries (weight value and date)
• Meal photos (if you choose to use the camera feature)
• Daily nutrition goals and dietary preferences

How we use your data

• To provide the app's core features: food logging, weight tracking, nutrition analysis, and recipe suggestions
• To generate AI-powered nutrition estimates from text descriptions and photos
• To display your personal history, stats, and progress charts

Data storage

• All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage)
• Photos are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage with per-user access controls
• AI analysis is processed via a secure Cloud Run service using Anthropic's Claude API

Data sharing

• We do NOT sell your data to third parties
• We do NOT share your personal information with advertisers
• Meal descriptions and photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API solely for nutrition analysis — no data is retained by Anthropic after processing

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data from the app's Account settings at any time. Upon deletion, all your food logs, weight entries, photos, goals, and preferences are permanently removed from our systems.

Analytics

We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics (screen views, feature usage) to improve the app. No personal health data is sent to PostHog.
