Privacy Policy

• Email address (for account creation and login)
• Food log entries (meal descriptions, calorie and macro estimates, timestamps)
• Weight entries (weight value and date)
• Meal photos (if you choose to use the camera feature)
• Daily nutrition goals and dietary preferences
• Questions you ask Netta, our in-app coach, stored anonymously (see below)

• When you ask Netta a question, we keep a copy of what was asked, with no record of who asked it, so we can see which features people want and build them
• These records contain no account identifier — not your email, not your user ID, and not a code derived from either. They cannot be traced back to you, by us or by anyone else
• Netta's replies are not stored, and email addresses, phone numbers and web links are removed from the question before it is saved
• We save the program, age range and gender you chose during setup alongside the question, and the month it was asked, so we can tell which groups are asking for what
• These records are deleted automatically after 12 months

• To provide the app's core features: food logging, weight tracking, nutrition analysis, and recipe suggestions
• To generate AI-powered nutrition estimates from text descriptions and photos
• To display your personal history, stats, and progress charts
• To understand, anonymously, what people are asking Netta so we can decide what to build next

• All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage)
• Photos are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage with per-user access controls
• AI analysis is processed via a secure Cloud Run service using Anthropic's Claude API

• We do NOT sell your data to third parties
• We do NOT share your personal information with advertisers
• Meal descriptions and photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API solely for nutrition analysis — no data is retained by Anthropic after processing

You can delete your account and all associated data from the app's Account settings at any time. Upon deletion, all your food logs, weight entries, photos, goals, and preferences are permanently removed from our systems.

We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics (screen views, feature usage) to improve the app. No personal health data is sent to PostHog.
